SOLD! Beautiful Tissot Automatic from 1954!

Hi all

For sale is this beautiful Tissot in gold on steel case from 1954. Stunning dial with old logo and golden hands. I'm not a Tissot expert but it seems to be quite rare reference and dial execution.

About the watch:

Ref: 6916-2
Movement: Cal 28.5R-21 automatic, 17 jewels
Movement nr 315xxxx dating this watch to ca 1954
Crystal: No cracks and few very minor light scratches
Case: Very nice crisp looking case with thick and wide solid gold bezel on top . Measuring 34.7 mm without the crown. Unpolished.
Dial: Beautiful no lume original dial with golden markers and cool old Tissot logo.
Hands: Golden hands with no lume in perfect condition
Crown: I believe it is original but due to the wear on top there is no logo. This is the only remark on this watch.
Strap: No strap. Head only!
Function: Keeping time and winds smoothly.
