Offered is my 1970 Omega Speedmaster Mark ii ref. 145.014 on full length original Omega 1159 bracelet with 154 end pieces. I purchased this watch several years ago from its original owner who wore this watch for a few years, hit the crystal on a door jam, cracking the crystal. Instead of fixing, he just stored it in a box until is was found again after sitting for some 40 odd years. I had the movement serviced and replaced the crystal. Other than the crystal, everything else is original to the watch. Case is in original condition and shows no signs of polishing. Dial, hands, crown and pushers show honest use but no abuse. Movement dates the watch to 1970 and original owner stated he purchased early 1971. Movement is running strong and keeps good time, all chronograph functions working properly as well. Starts, stops and resets to zero great and minute and hour counters work perfectly. Sea monster on case back is highly visible, these tended to fade with extended wear but this one looks good. Dial shows honest patina with original lume intake. A couple pits on the dial mostly in the minute counter sub but nothing that distracts, most seen under magnification. Really is a nice survivor watch, worn as intended but not abused. Will make a great daily wear watch or a great addition to any collection. These Mark ii's are starting to increase in value and this is a great time to purchase. Awesome watches. Offered at $1400 obo plus 6% PayPal... Free shipping CONUS and at cost overseas. Many references..... If you have questions, just ask!! Thank you for considerations!
Done! Usually the one of the moderators put sold on the titles but has been awhile since I sold on the forum. Best, Wayne
