This is an exquisite example of a black dial constellation in beautiful rose gold (14K) capped case with hidden crown. The case is in overall very good condition with very minimal wear, and the constellation medallion on the caseback is sharp. The black dial and rose gold markers are very attractive. The only negative is the crown is in yellow gold so the price has been adjusted accordingly. Otherwise, it shows beautifully on a black Hadley Roma strap with a rose gold Omega clasp. Here are the specs on the watch: Reference - 168.004 – 63 Case size – 35.5 excluding crown Movement – Caliber 561, 24 jewels, automatic chronometer with quick-set date feature (service history is not known; however, runs well) Serial Number – 20,000,360 dating it to 1963 Crown – Please note crown is not original to the watch and is yellow gold Available for $1,450 and includes shipping CONUS. Um, please note that this it rose gold CAPPED. Just saying "Rose Gold Case" in the title and "in beautiful rose gold (14K)" could very easily mislead people into thinking this is solid gold.
Elvis Presley famously wore a gold Constellation with a black dial from around 1960 with the same dauphine style hands and markers, so I'd say that sets a pretty good precedent.
