The link is a little confusing. However, from what I can glean, are you putting on an accusatory tone? Maybe that watch is worth less than a cuppa Joe
Nah mate. I was just wondering. The watch was on ebay for a day before it got pulled by the seller. I assume someone approached him with an offer.
It wasn't me, but that has to be what happened. Pictures taken on the very new Autavia book, so the seller was obviously in the know about what he had. Interesting that they wouldn't use the forums to sell and avoid the fees though. Great looking dial with silver script, case has seem some polishing though.
It was a good-looking example, but I decided against making an offer since I'm not looking for another '60s Carrera. Still, I would have been interested to see where it ended up if the seller allowed it to run. Just about any in-demand Heuer or Speedmaster etc goes one of two ways - either the seller plays ball, or prefers to let it run; but you can be sure the offers are flying in any case!
