·Hi folks! My first post here! I have been for a very long time followed the marked and since the 80's been interested in different kind of timepieces. For me the prices on vintage wrist watches in very fine and better condition now begins to reflect their real value. If I compare with for example Omegas in fair or worse condition and what kind of prices they reach, and have reached, I believe that they are not worth the money. Condition, condition, and condition, that is what I pay for. The dial is the most important aspect of course. The case will by nature show marks and dents if the watch have been used by daily basis.
The above Suveran in that fine condition is in my opinion a fine example of an object I find very appealing. A watch from 1940's in that fine condition with a high quality, reliable movement. Like today there were owners who loved and cared of theirs watches. These watches are today in the condition like the one that Kyle has bought 👍
