Most of the time I guessing it's something like this example... Painful to watch for anyone who actually appreciates watches I'm sure.
Urk is the first word that comes to mind... "Serviced" for means "it keeps time when it's on my wrist for a minute" on fleaBay...
The reasonably hopeful, best case scenario, is, in my view, for a watch to have been serviced in such a way that no harm was done, and so that it might be used without sustaining damage.
I am disturbed by the casual connection that was made on this thread that serviced Ebay watches = "swish and lube" job
No it’s not serviced and shouldn’t be claimed as such but better that than throw it in the garbage or let it fester in a drawer forever...
but is he gonna sell that watch unpolished like that? he should send to this expert for a quick polishing session
No. No, everyone knows parafin is the preferred degreaser. Soak in parafin to degrease and debraid before dipping into diesel oil to refill all those little oil reservoirs we call "jewels" .
Serviced? Typically the "service" part of the word means "service" and the 'd' at the end stands for "due."
not just any ed white... a polished/ like brand new ed white i like his finishing lines at the end after brushing in with the toothbrush : "customer will be happy with that one... i think... yeah" "this is as good as it gets"
does he have an Omega parts’ account? ...and he is not taking any shortcuts when it comes to finger booties!
