So far, so good: a True Dome update

Just for the record, I thought I’d post my experience, having put a True Dome on my 5513 about six months ago.

I wear the watch nearly every day and tend to treat it like the tool watch it set out to be. So, it gets whacked occasionally.

I’m quite pleased with the True Dome, even though its profile draws more scratches.



Despite the bangs and clippings, I’ve had no cracks or chips. And polywatch removed those scratches.

(My watchmaker did not try to restore the watch’s water resistance, so I can’t comment on that aspect. But, he did report that the crystal fit well.)



I remain quite pleased and would recommend these crystals without reservation.

That's really good to know. I have one sitting in a drawer ready for when I can visit my watchmaker in person again. They are certainly reassuringly expensive!
