Picked up Snoopy today ! I am incredibly lucky. I was told by my salesperson that Omega wanted to "reset" their full amount deposits on the watch because apparently some big spenders were complaining they didn't know about the watch until it was too late. I happened to be on top of it and was able to secure mine. It really is amazing... My shop was able to get 2 ,one of which was slotted for me..... apparently not a big spender! I've only purchased 3 watches from them! The salesperson was able to convince them to keep it fair, first come first serve. I won! Some pics

Good for you. Anyone complaining that they didn't have a chance to get a deposit in, is just whining. Top clients especially, who probably got proactive phone calls from their sales reps at the time. Snooze you lose, first come first serve!!

Well done on a fantastic acquisition.

I live in Thailand and they only got something like 15 or 19, so I had zilch chance, but I was back in the UK recently and called in to see my old AD in Newbury, greetings were exchanged all around - in total, I had bought 5 watches from them, including 3 Omegas (one being a De Ville for the other half) - and during our chat, I brought up the fact I would have loved the snoopy and they basically offered me one there and then! I was sceptical, but they insisted they could get me one and I know for a fact they had the DSOTM before almost anyone else. But alas, I already had two watches waiting for collection elsewhere that I had just paid for, so couldn't have afforded it, even if I wanted to.

 

I was told that no AD would be getting these, they were boutique only. Does anyone have different info?

 

Absolutely not boutique only. Omega AD's, such as Tourbillion, have their allocations.
