Hello, I'm curious and have been looking for but unable to find the original retail list prices for the earlier three versions;

1. The Omega Snoopy "Eyes on the Stars" Ref. 3578.51
2. The Omega Apollo X "Snoopy & Charlie Brown" Ref. 145.0022
3. The Omega Apollo XIII 45th Anniversary, Ref. 311.32.42.30.04.003

The above three are truly limited editions and the latest 50th Anniversary is an open edition.
Even though Omega shows the retail list for this latest edition at $10,600, the market has driven it sky high !
A great example of the laws of supply and demand.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers !

I’ve never heard the Apollo X limited edition as the "Snoopy & Charlie Brown" edition - guess those were nicknames for the modules? Don’t think many would consider it a “snoopy” watch.

regarding the The Omega Snoopy "Eyes on the Stars" Ref. 3578.51 edition, it came out in 2003 and Speedmaster pros had a list price of $3400, but it was easy to get a discount. I know several years after release you could buy these used for about $2500 - I know because I seriously considered buying one in 2005 but passed. Saw one in a watch store in Berlin for $25k this summer.

We live in crazy times.

Just checked what the gain would have been if I bought Apple stock at $2500. That would now be worth about $1 million. So put that gain in perspective. People still get richer, faster, through the stock market, not buying/selling watches.

Hello Donn,
Thanks for the quick response. I had only seen a brief reference to an Apollo X "Snoopy & Charle Brown" edition but in checking Ref. 145.0022, found this was the Apollo XI 20th Anniversary watch.

BTW, a couple of interesting reviews of the Apollo and "Snoopy" series of watches are by Paul Altieri of Bob's Watches and Lawrence McGlynn of Space Artifacts.

And to segue to your closing comment, "Good grief Charlie Brown!", even Sparky would have been shocked.

Cheers !

Hello Donn,

True words regarding the stock market.

My mother never let my father forget his shortsightedness in selling their 200 shares of Microsoft stock in 1998.

I'm sure many of us have or have heard of similar stories.

Again, thanks for your help and comments.

Cheers !
