Just made a new addition of a very familiar Seamaster Pie-Pan 2757 from New Jersey to the 2627 stepped dial, now just to track down a date at three with stepped dial... ;)

I seriously, majorly love these watches, they're among the few I'll never be selling, which is why the poor quality iphone pics.

For anyone that's curious there's a detailed review of my first SMPP here: http://omegaforums.net/threads/seamaster-stepped-pie-pan-2627-review.1678/

I'll be getting together with Trev before too long for a quality photo shoot of these two, plus the Ref 2849 date at three varient but in the mean time...

These are classics and do not allow our Mighty Magpie to fall in love with them - unless you want the next piece to be his.

    Thank-you.

It was mine. I have a rule: if I don't wear it and enjoy it, move it on to someone who will. Ashley had dibs on it.

We don't really know how hard it is to find them because there isn't many around. Might be another next month, might not be for a few years.

There were 4 different versions. 2 with the date at 6 - 1 a step sided dial, the other a shiny sided dial. 2 with the date at 3 - 1 a step sided dial, the other a shiny sided dial. Ashley only needs the step sided date at 3.

    Edit: Dennis already said it...

Very beautiful watch and a fantastic on theme addition.

I have a feeling that the hunt for the "missing link" is really only going to hot up now?

Good luck finding the last piece of the jigsaw, I recently completed the straight lug SM300 set and it was very satisfying feeling indeed!

'Women in red dress' - only one during your life-time.

'Omega in 18k gold' - as many as you like.

    Good luck and enjoy.

    Thank-you.
