I've searched the OF and found 1 old post but an earlier SMP.

But just daydreaming on my next purchase & still debating the older gloss dial SMPc, but I love the earlier sword hands and not the current cut outs. Can these be retrofitted? If so any pics? (Found some on watchuseek) but unsure if aftermarket or OEM handset - heard Blake mentioned). Is this an easy mod, and lastly can the lume be matched?

    Thanks

It is possible to install OEM sword hands (cal.1120) on SMPc (powered by cal.2500), but you would need to re-lume those hands (OEM green lume) to match a blue lume on SMPc dial.

Thank you for the reply. Do you know if the hands look too small or fit ok?

The proportion between dial/hands (if that was your question) will be Ok if you will use the parts from similar watches.
If you have 41mm SMPc - use the hands from 41mm "Peter Blake model", 36mm watch = hands from mid-size watch.

Personally, I think sword hands work best with big triangle dial, so I am not a fan of this mod.
