SMP bracelet question

Sold my older smp to purchase this one. The bracelet it came with (1616/749) was too short and doesn’t have a micro adjust. So I put this strap on (stz001139) with a micro adjust. I love the bracelet but have two question about it:
1. The edges feel a little sharp compared to the older bracelets - is that normal?
2. The end link does not match up with the lugs - are there end pieces that would fit both the bracelet and lugs?

I think you might have your numbers mistaken. It looks to me like you have the newest Seamaster 300m bracelet pictured there, which would be the STZ010108, which is made for the new Seamaster 300m case. I think the number you meant to refer to is STZ001159, which is the adjustable clasp which fits that bracelet. If that is the case, and judging from the picture, it probably is, the end lugs of that bracelet don't match the case of your watch which is the older, ceramic chrono version of the newest 300m Seamaster. That's why the end links don't match up and also why they are lower than the lugs. But the end links that would match your case would not match the other links in the bracelet even if you could source them, which would probably be very difficult. You would probably be better off buying the appropriate period bracelet to fit your case (the older Bond/Seamaster - chrono size - style) and then fitting the adjustable clasp to it.

Thank you. That was a great solution. The longer clasp on the new bracelet was long enough to make up for the too short older bracelets. Thanks for the suggestion.
