·Love this reference. I’m a big fan of no date Seamasters, and had to have this one when I saw it was announced.
When it arrived about a week ago, the most surprising thing to me is the bezel. Unlike other laser ablated bezels, this one is completely smooth. UPDATE: it was the most seemless bezel protector I’ve ever seen...took several attempts with a tiny pin to catch the edge. If your dealer doesn’t remove it, I’m guessing many owners won’t either (I didn’t for a week).
Take a look at the “40” marker or the inside edge of the bezel and you can clearly see what I’m referring to.
