Small collection of older Omega watches

Quick snap of my small pile of Omega watches from various decades.

Some are inscribed dating back to a 1948 gift to “B.H.F. from M.H.F.” etc.

Really don’t know much about them. Family has been in the antique business for 60 years so they’ve just accumulated in my drawer since I was a kid alongside a variety of other old watches. Pretty sure these are all my Omega.

Yeah, it's one of my faves. All a little small by modern standards of course but very nice.

Somehow I didn't include the Speedmaster in the set of pics. It could use a service, but at $1200 I don't think its worth the investment. The watch functions fully but could do with some work and a crystal.

They've been collected with about 100 other watches over decades. My family is in the antique business and I've managed to snag these into my personal collection over the last 40 years. I've enjoyed wristwatches since I was a teenager for some reason and kept a bunch of them.

I did sell a Rolex Explorer II a long time ago - it ended up on a flight to Italy back in 2001. Kind of wish I had kept it but the money went into a retirement account and has grown as much or more than the value of the watch. Still, I'd rather have the watch in my collection than the money at the moment at least.

It was an early serial number, straight sweep orange 24 hour hand which made it a bit more collectible. I hope the guy who bought it still has it.
