Hi guys, Can anyone direct me to a website or a source where I can con find model/serial number info on a C2577-3 SC? Thanks!
Yes, I know that can be found through the Omega site. I was referring to more specific info such as dial variations, more specific serial number year range, etc..
http://www.omega-fanatic.com/pages/gallery/omega-codes-and-movement-numbers-2253.php Pretty sure this is a good guide for figuring out the date.
That chart is available in a lot of places. It still doesn't list reference number or movement, even though that's what the title of the web page implies.

Okay, back to your original request, as you can see there isn't a single website or source for that information. The thing about these date charts is that they aren't exact. They can be a year or two off. The only way to know for sure is to order an extract of the archives. From this link, you can get more information but you needed to know the movement number first. http://naligazone.com/index.php/data-watch/omega/caliber-3/cal-354/ck-2577 As you can see at the bottom of the page, there are several dial configurations. The trick is determining, if the dial had been redone or is this a known variation?
Hell, you should have just asked. It may be the angle of the photo but it appears that some of the darts extend further beyond the track than others. Others with more experience will be by to confirm, one way or another.
It is a known dial variation, it is just one that is a go-to for redials. It looks better than most, that I'll say, but I'll defer too.
There is no rhyme or reason in matching serial numbers to case production runs. Cases were not distributed in order nor were movements installed in order. Best you can do is a general range. gatorcpa
