Fellow SM 300 Master owners. What sort of accuracy are you getting on yours in real world use? I have had mine on the wrist for 6 days and it lost a whopping 2 seconds. That is .33 a day, and 9.9 over 30 days. That is Quartz territory. Maybe i got a knock off and there is a quartz movement hidden in there.
Its more a matter of luckily good regulation but that's a nice figure to have, and the watch looks superb
For a second there, I thought you were going to ask if it needed to be regulated! Outstanding watch!!
I had to set mine today. Other than the date being wrong, it had gained a minute. ..... since 27th April.
To be honest the accuracy is scary I'm beginning to to the think the clear clear case back is just a ploy. I too am thinking there's some Quartz trickery going on here. I'm going to set mine tonight against my Quartz sm300 if there's negligible difference I'm saying too accurate for a mechanical. (I knew that Turkish beach AD had skanked me, the day after it had moved further down the beach)
I think that all Master Co-Axial 8500 movements are manufactured to the same Omega standard, regardless of the case style. My two AT with Master Co-Axial run both 4 sec per day fast. I can only hope that over time I may get results like you.
Some shots of the omega NATO, I prefer the bracelet for most everything. And bonus photo for the significant other peering over your shoulder: I'm seeing roughly -2 sec per day long term over six months or so. Data dump warning! Time set 0946 12/10/14: 12sec fast 8 days. 20 sec fast 13d. 30sec fast 19d. 50sec fast 30d, 106 sec fast in 57 days.185 sec fast 85days. Reset 3/9/15: (cumulative fast 196 sec in 90 days). 13 sec fast 10 days. 67 sec fast 41 days. Reset 5/4: 120sec 51d. Reset 7/14.
Hello. New member here. Nice watch by the way! But for me, I would rather have it go a few seconds faster than late. Don't want to be late for an appointment lol. My three week old master co-ax AT has added 6 seconds in the last two weeks, total. No complaints here.
