Innocently walked into the Las Vegas Omega Boutique...and there is was with its titanium and Rose Gold brothers.

No review, you know it's amazing....and it is.

However the Las Vegas Boutique was great. Patient, attentive and spent time letting me ponder the damage to my finances. Thank you Beverly, it was a joy working with you!

Three features I didn't know about:
    - adjustable clasp (probably has some fancy name)
    - dial hour makers are cutout of the dial, a la a sandwich dial
    - 22mm lugs! I'll be ordering some new straps.

    Some quick photos:

Just in case you are looking...they have another SS version looking to travel!

Fantastic piece - really tempted myself in a few weeks

Did it come in a special box, or with a chronometer certificate?

Just the wooden Omega box, no 2014 Speedy "kit" type package.

COSC is on the card now, but don't forget the new anti-magnetic stamp!

Congrats! I'm afraid mine won't be coming in until January. The boutiques seem to be getting the priority for the rest of 2014.

I'll be at baggage claim 6 to confiscate the watch for the ΩF official investigation period. You will be notified when you can re-claim............
    Provided you are approved. :cautious:

There is another one as well..

Horologio in the Venetian (whatever they call their shops). Ask for Karan, he will hook you up!

The Boutique is great, but not the only game in Vegas.

Even the Vegas Boutique had their stock taken for other stores. Seem to be a lot of lists out there.

Would like to see photo of the box and papers etc, if poss please. The rep I saw yesterday at the Omega boutique told me it just came in the standard issue red box, which was a tad underwhelming, to say the least, for a master co-axial watch.

You are correct. Standard issue is the red box. Beverly (my new Omega Grandma) hooked me up with the wooden one.

Everything is packed away. I'll post some photos tomorrow...but it's standard issue stuff.

It's not a watch they need to package with additional branding and "extras"...but it would be fun. Don't forget, those extras added $700 to the standard Speedy for this year.

I would have taken it in a brown paper bag.

It seems airport around the world got priority for this product to enhance product exposure.
I saw this pair in Haneda airport Tokyo during transit. Too bad it was 11pm so the boutique already closed, otherwise I might get to try it, and who knows it could be nice self thanksgiving gift :whistling:.

At Yen 586,000 or equivalent to USD 5040, and wihout tax, certainly it was very tempting.

Wow, that is a great price. Texas price for the SS would nearly 7.5k

There was a bit of uh...emotion in this purchase.

You could say I came back from Vegas up one SM 300, but down full retail!

You at least left Vegas with something on your hand and didn't leave it on the table!

Yes, considering the alternatives, he did very well in Vegas.

Complete transparency, I'm not a huge fan of the bracelet. I'll warm to it over time, but I struggle with two-toned polish.

I do however really like it on Omega mesh!

Mesh looks great, but if you don't like the PCL's, it's easy to make the whole thing brushed. If your watchmaker does refinishing, just ask them to brush the whole bracelet for you. Would take just a few minutes to do.

    Cheers, Al
