hi forum members, so i might (might) be acquiring this project vintage Seamaster 300, i believe to be (because of date) a ref 166024 but case back is stamped “165024” by the look of it.. Is this normal? There are other bits including a very weathered bezel, good dial..etc
Hoping to get the lot for £1500ish.. Would that be good?

It would be quite a project based on that pic.. Is there more included in the sale?

Hmmm... If this is all you get, then I wouldn’t.

You will end up sourcing for parts for a watch that may never reach a point or condition where you could get your money back. And in this state it doesn’t look like a labour of love either.

Do you have any pictures of the dial, what else does it come with?
