Hi everyone,

I just noticed that the bracelet on my Speedmaster has a slight bit of play between the lugs. Is this normal?

Here’s a short video.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Can't see it, the movement must be extremely small. Maybe you should take it back to the dealer or boutique and ask them what they think. If it's loose maybe they can fix it for you.

[EDIT] Before that, make sure everything else is ok, so you can address everything in one trip. Look carefully at the dial and hands under high magnification, in case there are any flaws you want to ask about. Also, check that the chronograph hands reset exactly to 12 o'clock and that the hour and minute hand are synchronized when they pass 12. You can search the forum for other common quality control issues.

Thanks for your replies.

If you watch the video directly on YouTube and set the resolution to 1080p, you should be able to see the movement.

The bracelet was installed by the Omega boutique when I purchased the watch, but here’s a photo of the spring bar in case it helps!

Ehhh ... okay.

Did I say something strange? 🤔
Maybe you can prepare a high-resolution GIF using a macro lens to illustrate the motion and post it directly.

How old is that bracelet? Did you buy it new with the Snoopy or add it later? Either way, it looks about the same as both of mine with that bracelet.

The watch and the bracelet are just under two years old.

I’ll ask next time I visit an Omega boutique!

Doesn't hurt to ask indeed. To my eyes, it doesn't look like there's anything wrong. I wouldn't worry about it, just enjoy your watch!
(And kudos on the watch / bracelet combo, I think this is the best option out there for the Snoopy...)

Thank you. Since I’m not used to bracelets, I found this slight play a bit strange, even if it’s minimal. My only other watch with a bracelet is a HydroConquest GMT, and that one doesn’t move even a millimeter, which is why I was wondering.
