My wife determines whether or not I wear a watch in bed at night……ahem! But, mostly, I do wear a watch in bed. Have done it for so long I have worn the finish off the arrow-back spindles on the head board.

I always wear my watch to sleep ever since I got my first watch forty some years ago. The only time I take my watch off is in shower or when I work on my cars.

No. After a long day’s work I feel my watch deserves a night off.

I don't wear my Speedy FOIS in bed because I'm scared that I might accidentally knock the chronograph pushers off if I swing my arm and hit something hard or if a pusher gets caught on the sheets.

that’s some intense sleeping!

My watch comes off when I come in from work and doesn't go back on until I'm about ready to walk out the door. I have a clock in several rooms of my house so I have no need to wear a watch at home.

I tend not to sleep with it on in case I accidentally swing my arm and hit my wife with it. Nothing would start the day off wrong like waking up to a Speedmaster to the side of the head.

On my honeymoon, had a dream of playing basketball (played every day at lunch back then with the guys from work), and threw my left arm out to hold someone back from trying to make a steal...then woke up suddenly with my wife gasping for air as I had swatted her pretty hard in the chest...oops! :whipped:

At the time, I didn't have a watch on, which was probably a very good thing. 😀

We co-sleep with our 4 year old and she always insists that I wear my watch, especially one with a strong lume ( which she always wants to charge on the bedside lamp) and she loves chronographs and my kinetic as she can push the buttons and make the time change.
After she falls asleep I always take it off, it's been many years since I slept with watch, the last one I regularly slept with was a Seiko with bracelet which coincidentally needed a few link pins replaced as they had worn out, quite sure due to the drag caused by bed sheets.
