today I got offered the following watch (supposedly the original for this re-hash)

since the 1940ies are not my forte, could somebody more competent pipe in?

I understand the omegas have no gold hallmarks on the outside, but very old ones did (up until when?)





what are your thoughts?... I dont have any movement pics .... but I'd be interested in first "stabs" at this ...

Is it legit or am I completely off base here (Omega logo looks too contemporary???) ?... I mean that is not exactly a kind of watch that you'd forget once you saw it ... that dial, those fancy lugs ...
