Looks like a mid 80's lemania 903 $1800 Seems like a great deal patina looks good on the dial a few Bezel scratches. Should I pull the trigger?
Breitling did not sell the navitimer rights to Sinn until 1978. The display back with that patina is holding me back. Not a lot of data out there on these. They moved away from the lemania movement about 5 years ago from my research. The Lemania is the preferred movement and I've got no data on when the display back came out.
Right - late 70's. Can't help on the display back introduction though. If the price is right (and I have no idea if $1800 is cheap or insane), I'd buy it even if it is a franken because it's a good looking watch.
Honestly, at that price point I would buy it. I do have a soft spot for Sinn in general, but this one is more than your average Sinn: a Navitimer from the '80 with lemania, and the patina does not seem too bad .
Stuck Bezel. That is not promising think I'm going to pass. That could be an easy fix or a nightmare.
On Navitimers, because the crystal is attached to the bezel rather than the case, a tight bezel clearance is needed to maintain any semblance of water resistance, which makes their bezels especially vulnerable to dirt and debris. I've had luck in the past using dental floss to free up a sticky Navitimer bezel. YMMV, but personally, I wouldn't worry too much about it, especially if the seller is able to resolve the issue.
Sounds good I just accepted the offer. As you've noticed these might be best of breed for the Sinn versions. I'll post once I get it.

Lets see how it goes, wanted paypal and free shipping. Thanks for pushing me guys! hopefully the bezel is an easy fix. Oh and not going to make the Remania joke from a Japanese seller but it kinda writes itself... But he did have 2 other Remania watches for sale. Just for you @alam
