Not an expert speaking here, but I think they were available as an option for just about any of the speedmasters... maybe not really early ones, but 145.022+, Mark ii definitely.
No hijack intended (call it a related question?) Is there a way to distinguish a 40-50 year old pulse bezel from a modern replacement (like our old pal the Dot-Over-90 on tachy bezels)? Relative condition aside, that is. And if this is addressed in the Moonwatch Only book, my copy is on its way so apologies...
It's a good question. I don't believe Moonwatch only has the answer. I wonder if you can get a 3570.50 with a pulsometer today
I believe the new pulsometer bezels just use dashes to measure the increments. Whereas the vintage ones have a solid line running along the circumference.
This is the original Pulsometer Bezel. The 60 mark is supposed to be at the 15 second mark.....mine is slightly off. The bezel is attached to a 145.022-69..
I'll admit I didnt actually know that at the time I bought it... 'pay attemtion in the wonderful forum and learn much, you will' Fark!, does that mean I need to buy a Jedi Speedy?
