A couple of weeks ago, I was in my local Omega AD to buy a gift for my wife. I kiddingly asked "do you have a silver snoopy?" - To my amazement, I was told that they had one coming in that wasn't yet spoken for. I committed to it on the spot and picked it up the next week. I had no intention of dropping $7K on a watch but I couldn't pass it up. Now I just have to bring myself to actually put it on my wrist!

    Lucky or what?

I followed the advice on the face of the Snoopy - "Failure is not an option". Mission accomplished!

Now there's a lucky man! If there's one thing I've learned it's to not hesitate and always seize the opportunity if it arises or you'll be kicking yourself forever for missing it!

Hope you bought the missus something to distract her when the snoopy is in! ;)

Speaking of AD / boutiques. Is there such a thing as having to adhere to a dress code to go in an Omega Botique? The one here in NYC 5th Ave seems a bit intimidating and I don't feel that I should walk in with trainers and a hoodie.

They're cool with trainers, I often go in Air Max 90s myself :) The staff will look at your wrist before they'll look at your shoes.

Remember only poor people now wear suits and ties.
Because their job tells them they have to.

(I am being slightly facetious and yes I suppose I should say, most people who wear suits)

Rich people wear whatever they want, including trainers and hoodies.

    So walk right in.
They will be ready for you!

    Hi

i never had a problem walking into the NYC location .. I dont do it often enough for them to know me... once in a while someone does.... But i walk in most of the time in "work clothes" construction and stie mtg... so full of what ever we are using on a site... concrete , plaster etc... not pretty and they were always very helpful..

Walked in to the DC location last week wearing my work suit (jeans, polo, winter coat and sneakers). Did not appear to be an issue whatsoever. They are regular people working there, and they were happy to be of assistance. If anything I felt bad the one man working there had to wear a suit.

I walked in once wearing sweaty gym clothes, but was sporting my SMPO on my wrist - they didn't care.
