I received a call from my dealer and picked up the watch today, still in its delivery case. I have always been a Peanuts fan and my birthday is Oct. 5th, the same day Omega received the award from NASA. Always thought the watch would look great in my small collection. As people have stated that strap is extremely stiff. But I believe, like a good pair of boots, that it will just take some work to break in and then be worth the effort. Here are some pics from the dealer and when I arrived home.

Blue and white is my favorite watch color combination. I think that watch looks sensational even apart from its limited nature. It's the only Speedmaster I'd be interested in buying (I'm more of an Aqua Terra/Seamaster guy).

Fantastic! I got the call yesterday and am picking mine up Saturday. (The OB is 200 miles away).

Super jealous. Many career and personal milestones for me this year - about to launch a bunch more hardware I have worked on into space, 10th wedding anniversary, 40th birthday - getting the call on one of these would just be the cherry on top.
