Hey all, I came across this ebay listing and thought I'd run it by the omega hivemind: Silver dialled is not my #1 preferred style (I'd rather cream) and not too fond of the bracelet but otherwise this seems to hit quite a lot of the marks I'm looking for. 711 cal thin case, seemingly crisp, good condition case and movement. Alright price. Am I missing something?
hi @tomasco it's a linen dial ultra-thin they don't appear on OF that often but they are very refined dress watch IMHO early adoption of the funkier lower case Omega text on this reference the simple, thin, cal 711 movement is a thing of beauty (also used later in Constellations) there does seem to be a few about on the net with the lume pips and lumed hands but no Ts on the dial. - and the hands look to be about the right length but no expert so don't know if correct case is a little polished but still pretty good all depends on price this one is earlier, has a sharp case, with slim hands to match the indices and no lume pips - and a seamaster case back
Yeah I actually think the example you show there looks nicer without the lumes. I'm very keen on a 711 cal but realistically finding a silver cased, cream dialled example in good condition has pretty low odds.
