    My father served in the US Army signal Corp during WWII.
    Don’t know of any watch but he was issued a rifle and a typewriter.

    Now if any one wants a great strap for there trench watch and even saw he made a two piece open end strap that mite look cool on a Omega 53 or my issued Czech Longines I just mite try one on them.
