1957 Catalogue.jpg One of my all-time favorite Omega dress watches from the 1950's, Constellation deLuxe model.
Check out the lugs on the yellow gold version, that's what they should look like on an unmolested example.
Very heavy with the brick bracelet, you know something is on your wrist.
Both with Cal. 354 bumper chronometer movements.
Top photo is a scan of the page out of a 1957 Omega Catalog.

Is that a pair of 2799's? I ::love:: Mine too!

You certainly trumped me with one brick bracelet and one pink gold model though.

Glad you were able to retrieve the YG de luxe. The deluxe rose gold model as pictured is harder to find with the 354 bumper - most of these that I've seen come with the 505 full rotor movement.

Mate can I ask, is there any chance that brick bracelet would fit onto a Reference 2627 Seamaster case? Do you have one you could check it with at all? :)

It's quite possible it would fit. Don't have a 2627 case to try it out on.

Ah that's a shame, next time one of those bracelets come up, I might take a shot at it and find out... Worse case scenario it doesn't fit the Seamaster and I'll be forced to buy an 18K Deluxe connie to go with it, which is no great loss :)

That catalog page is the best direct information I have seen to date on the Deluxe Constellation's association with the low profile silver box. Specifically stating and illustrating these watches came with the engined-turned cover box and that the price was - 100-150f sans the box.
Great watches and great details. Bravo
