    Dears,

I am considering buying a Sicura Diver.
Do you already have some experience with this brand? Any feedback?

    Thanks :)

I had a Sicura Pilot a while back. Styling was awesome. But case is most of the time chrome plated, and movements mostly poor. I was lucky to get a Valjoux 7734 in my Pilot

Agree, mostly low quality watches overall.

Some people ask silly money for them, touting the supposed Breitling connection.

Exactly this. Pay £25-40 for one and expect to pay six times that to a watch maker to keep it running. The internet is a wonderful thing but the "Sicura sensation" is illustrative of the drawbacks that the web and marketing can do to collectors' ideas of value and worth.

Indeed, I have seen many posts online regarding this Breitling connection and found some watches on sale for over 500$.
I just wanted to dig down more...

    Below one of many examples...

Thanks guys, as always this forum is full of top-notch people!

I like this dial. Cleaned up, it should bring $100 USD ;)

Beware cheap, crappy EB pin pallet movements in a lot of them. They really are awful.

I agree 100% with @WatchVaultNYC that the styling is awesome and the insides are a huge letdown. Just a couple of examples on ebay right now make the point quite well. For instance, inside this beauty:

    you get this:
    upload_2017-9-5_10-5-40.jpeg
    and inside this arm candy:

    you get this:

I would just LOVE to find one with a Valjoux movement, any Valjoux movement!
