Hi All, Like to share: fresh from the spa finally home: these twins arrived some days ago, after having travelled the bigger part of the world. Ref 2766 in ss. Their serial numbers are only 6 apart...... Dating them around 1953. They have lived the life, but, wow, what a character.. Cases unpolished (or very lightly only), even with an original Omega buckle, although most probably not original to the watch(es). Dials with some patina: as it should be. Calibres nice, although the youngest one has seen some mileage. Running nicely and, let’s say ‘on time’ as to be expected. Very happy with these!
And nearly forgot: the all ss one has an Omega strap too: might be original (but too thin and flimsy for my taste)
Beautiful! For us noobies: Might someone explain why the golden hands "twin" Seamaster S is different from the all SS twin's S? The lower part of the S looks more flowing and loopy, not as hooked as the all SS dial's S.
