I recently picked up this birth year Seamaster (1959) for my wife, though it might find its way onto my wrist from time to time....

I picked this one up as a non-runner for a great price 10 days ago and it's already back from my new, and very local to me, watchmaker 😀

A ref 2638 with cal 332 from around 1950.

I had the macro out today too, so here's a decent shot of my half-waffle Constellation 14393

An old submission to this thread, with (hopefully) a new audience. My one-owner 1971 Rolex Oyster Air-King Date. In 2021, I celebrated 50 years of ownership of this watch by adding a genuine NOS14-karat yellow gold bezel to replace the stainless steel one, thus making it my Golden Anniversary Rolex. Only after-market part of this watch is the bracelet. I won this watch in a Rolex sales contest in 1971. It came with all the papers, box, and hang tag, direct from Rolex. MSRP at the time was $ 215.00!

I don’t recall how I acquired the bezel, it was so long ago. (Over 30 years ago.) The MSRP on the bezel was marked on the Rolex envelope it came in. The price was $595.00!

Nice that the geneve was given a rest!
Lol, I do have others! But admit it, you love the Geneve, you know you do. 😁

And another shot of it for good measure:

I'd love to see yours (it doesn't have to just be Omega)!

Don't own one like this myself but I agree the gold hour markers really does pop. Lovely!
