It's not a vintage, so I'm sorry if I'm violating the thread:

Au contraire - reckon present-day Omega nailed the brief with this one! 👍

Back for an encore. My one owner (me) “Golden Anniversary” Rolex Air-King Date. All steel when I acquired it in 1971, in a Rolex sales contest. Earlier this year, I removed the steel bezel, and fitted a correct NOS genuine 14-karat bezel that I had in my stash for about 30-years. Hence, my gold 50th anniversary Rolex.

I have a couple. But I really do love the dial of the 2996.
I have on of those seamaster / ranchero. Mine is not in such a great shape , I have repared it not long ago, the dial was a mess so I took off the varnish and printings, and found some dauphine hands . It is my summer watch , I like it !

A new arrival that belongs to this club:

A relatively early (1950) 2577 with a beautiful two-tone dial, and, of course, gold furniture/SS case. Lovely little thing. 😀

Naturally, very similar to my 1950 2577 cal 351 - except that mine shouldn’t be in this thread because it’s gold capped.
Still, they both look great for 70 year olds. You don’t see many 2577s in the condition that ours are in
