·Heard the rumors, saw the first pictures then actually held one. I guess it's age, I've worn a Speedmaster Professional since 1971, one version or another, this one is so stunning I had to do it. Have worn it every day for almost a year, it's still stunning. My first Speedy was a late wedding gift from my wife, now 54 years later, an anniversary present. She prefers Movados, but thinks the White Speedy is dresser than the traditional face, she actually noticed the raised indices. Just glad we got it last year when it was still $8100.

Agreed, if I was to buy a Speedy today - this would be the one. Now that the "shiny new novelty" factor has worn off this model, it's still a stunner.
