My first, and only, Sub. 1984ish 16800.

Cleaned up nicely! Just got back from servicing.

Case is not unpolished but still pretty sharp. Came from son of original owner.

Little wierd wearing it, but I've like them since 1974, so enjoy the iconic history of this model. I've got two daughters, not to mention a wife, so this will also fit them better than my 42mm Speedys (someday).

In the macro, that Tiffany & Co looks " interesting". I wonder who did this for them, was it in house or contracted out by Tiffany?

Has become pretty much the only watch I wear anymore since acquiring back in November. And I am not mad about the one watch rotation 馃榾

My father just gave me his Sub 1991 16610 with Box & Papers

He wore it every day, and the bezel has turned a beautiful blue..

My father gifted me his Datejust from around the same period. I think of him every time I see it and wear it. Wear yours in good health.

Thanks you and you're 100% right... as I was so surprised that he gifted it to me, I hadn't thought about this before. I'd seen my father wear it for over 30+ years so I do indeed think of him every time I see and wear it! Wear yours in good health too

It was retailed by Tiffany who applied the signature.
