I really, really like 2254s and all the "PB" style dials. It was very nearly my first Omega. I have often considered getting one these days, if it wasn't for the fact that the watchco seamasters exist I probably would.

If you already have a Watchco Seamaster that is awesome. I wouldn't feel comfortable buying one these days unless it included paperwork from Watchco confirming it is what it is. Too many fake cases and other parts out there now days.

I don't. I would feel comfortable sourcing one from the right Forum member, but I've also considered sending a 552 powered watch to Omega to have them build me one. Per a comment @Archer made Omega has a policy that they can do this as long as they have service Parts on hand, there is a member on watchuseek that supposedly had this done.
Unless something has changed in the last year.
