It is awesome! A few hairlines on the clasp only! Not bad for an 18 years old watch!

Seamaster in its native environment from a quick jaunt to escape the midwest cold last week.

What a stunning piece. The 1948 Limited Edition is probably the best tribute Omega has ever done. Those leaf hands and the sub-seconds dial are just pure class. Great!

I agree. I generally prefer the Omegas 1950's and the early 1960's, but this edition is special. I wish that I had one.

Spot the differences? 😆
The onyx inlaid hour markers on the second example are what really set this reference apart to me. Plenty of similar looking 60's watches from Seiko, Longines and others but none I know of with this great particular detail. According to this Desmond Guilfoyle article, the onyx (or "ebony") inlay was one of Gerald Genta's central design contributions to these references.

Titanium? What is the reference?
No it's a 2264.50 with a swapped brushed steel bezel.
Just got this Forstner brushed flat link bracelet that I ordered for an incoming white dialed version of the SMP 300m quartz. Took 30 minutes to smooth out the edges and now I really like it:

Lume is still going strong on this

On February 11, it landed at Swatch Group Poland for a full service plus replacement of the glass and the entire bezel, it arrived to me on March 5, the 19-year-old watch looks almost like new, great job chapeau bas ;]

The white one came in this morning with some parts I also ordered:

Swapped out the bezel and the bracelet to make it look a bit less 90s (will leave installing to sword hands to my watch smith):

Beauty shot:

Low light conditions:

We're nearing our one year anniversary. I absolutely adore this watch. I feel lucky it fits so well.
Looks like a perfect fit indeed! May I ask whether this is the standard or short mesh bracelet, and what your wrist size is? (Considering an NTTD at present; tried it on with the standard bracelet, and the buckle sat almost all the way over on the side of my wrist.)
