Any excuse to wheel them out
Rolex 1016 and 1603
Got one or two, I like them.
This explorer.... Dibs !!
Only just posted this on the military WRUW thread, but I'll take any chance to post it again !
When these Cyma WWW dials go tropical they almost always seem to go two-tone with a much lighter brown on the subdial. Maybe the paint is thinner there, or perhaps it could be connected to the surface finish. Whatever the reason, it seems to be entirely natural and looks super-cool.
Dibs noted, but I think you'll have a long wait on that one
Glossy dial, gilt scripting, those tropical 1016 are truly hypnotical ! Congrats
Why spend so much money on a degraded watch when you can get the real thing for a fraction?
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
I'm hoping I can restore this basket case, the dial will remain untouched.
I can't keep posting my Dad's brown dial 105.012-65 at every opportunity on this forum chaps. you've all seen it. It's already had a good outing this week.
You asked for brown dials so here is my Chinese Chow Chow. Charlie Cheez. His arse has gone tropical.
I love the fact you keep sharing your dad's watch...cannot get enough of a good thing!
