not sure if redial, I like it no matter what, because movement, design, overall geometry are the way I like
the hour, minute, small second hands lengths are perfect
Original dial.
Lovely!!👍

Two lovely new acquaintances I have recently. A little 50's number on a Gay Freres beads of rice and a 60's standard on a 50's JB Champion Viceroy bracelet.

Hi, this one is from the 1960s. Inside is a cal. 592, 17 jewels. It's becoming harder to find one.

Yes I have bought and enjoyed quite a few over the years and then sold them on and as some will know I sold this piece not so long ago and when it came on the market I purchased it p.d.q. 😀

So, wife & I finished up dinner at a Vietnamese place that she loves & I also like. As, we were driving away, she saw the "Hot Now" neon sign was on at the Krispy Kreme donut place & she asked "want to go there?". And, I thought to myself -- not the question to ask but how quickly can you get us there (as she was driving)?? !!!

Ordered 6 donuts - 5 glazed & 1 unglazed for her.
OMG!! they were soooo good! Melt in your mouth! Soft, fluffly, airy & hot!! Pick them up & they were fragile -- broke off & fell into the box!

5 donuts in 4 mins.....
.......all while wearing my Alpina GMT....
one lonely donut still avoid its eventual fate........
