I'd like to share some pics of my Ocean Star that I picked up about a year ago at a pawn shop here in Eugene Oregon.
$50 purchase
+ $200 at the watchmaker. I'm probably in it for what its worth but I love it.

·Ever have watches you regret selling? I know Mido may not have the brand prestige of others, but here was a yard sale find I regret selling. I find myself posting these things too cheap in other forums, as I don't have my 200 posts here, and people on say WUS aren't as hard core as OF when it comes to appreciating vintage. So I sold this one a while back for a measly $80 after bumpingit maybe a dozen times. Now I find a well known Instagramer selling an older but similar Multifort for $800. Anyways, show me some vintage Mido's!
Same story. I sold a 1950s Mido Multifort SuperAutomatc at auction last month for under $100. I now seriously have sellers remorse.
