So much chatter (most well deserved) about 2998s, DONs, Ed Whites, 220s, transitionals......but lately, not even a whisper about the awesome Post Moon Casebacks of the 145.022-69. The first Speedmaster caseback to herald the moon landing. They were available for a short time, before the issue of the now well known medallion caseback. Below are the two steel versions initially issued. The version on the left is somewhat rarer. I'm sure we will shortly see an 18k version courtesy of @Barking mad. These casebacks are unique and currently under appreciated. Let's see some others.

Now that is cool, not seen that before, at least on such an old Speedmaster. Had one from the 90's with the same seal though, from memory it was one of the ten Omani 's http://www.mwrforum.net/forums/show...master-military-issue-or-gift-from-the-Sultan

"As you can see from the pictures the watch and bracelet are free from any scratches or dents." ..... Apart from the one just past 60 on the bezel? This is very expensive I think. DT
