Should I get this Breitling? It has a marred crystal and scratched out badly. Moreover its Quartz.
But the price (SGD 380 or USD290) seems too good to pass.

If that is even real... it’s from a very dark period of Brietling...

Edit

ok it’s real, but seems to be missing the guard over the glass. Perfect ones you can see have an asking over 2k...

This rough... can’t be worth much at all. Who wants a trashed looking Brietling?

That's a real model? I. Am. Shocked.
So was I. Remember they closed in 1978 and reopened with issues in the mid 80’s.

Thanks for the replies! I do see the NOS ones selling as per you said. I'd b passing this over, greatly appreciate your advise

When you meant guard over glass, is it the cross as seen in the pic?

Google” Brietling quartz rallye”

I can find only one example that doesn’t have a guard over the dial.

Update: watch was bought from Japan, shipped with its defects. The top was badly cracked, with dirt accumulated. Seems to be cracked for a while.
Considered that it might succumb to humidity damage, it might be unwise to get the watch.

Didn't purchase it in the end

The unidirectional bezel action was sloppy at best. However it did wear well for my wrist.

The bracelet was still passable

It looks like having a long history.

Better to avoid vintage watches with such a long history
