I found this Geneve at a good price and low condition of GP case and (original) cristal, though dial & mouvement seem ok. Crown not original. No movement pics.
Should I buy it and if yes what for? Stripping down the GP and polishing the case to SS looks? Changing the case? ( I know of the poor chances of finding an original one in better shape than this...) Should I make it a franken and transform it to a "garden Omega" as presented in another thread? Hmmm.... ceas Omega.jpg

Well, basically you are getting a movement and dial. So if you can find a case to fit, it could make a project watch. Don't pay much for it, though ;)

    I would pass on it.
IMO too much work to do in a relative easy watch to find, unless it has an excellent movement and you want to get in to a project like John said.
With some search and patience you will find better examples.

LIke was said above, the only value would be in the movement and dial. Restoring the case would great exceed the cost of an example in nice condition.
