    Hey all,

    A nice looking Seamaster DeVille that I missed out on just resurfaced again for sale (at a higher price...).

    Unknown history but its not TOO expensive so it could be worth the gamble.
    What do you all think? Seller says it "runs well," do all of the pictures look legit enough?

    Thanks!

    Have you done any research yourself?

    What's the asking price?

    @X350 XJR

    Thanks for the reply, they're asking 350.
    I've done some research but I'm very new to this and was hoping someone with some experience might have an opinion.

    To me it doesn't look refinished, seems to be authentic and internal numbers match this model.

    I think the crown might not be original, but overall to my novice eye it looks like an ok buy for a Seamaster DeVille.

    Google the reference number on the back. Make sure it has a 600 movement. Check recently sold on eBay.

    Watch is gold filled or stainless. Can't tell from the wierd lighting in the pictures.

    @Davidt $350 USD.

    @Foo2rama from what I can tell in recently sold, this looks appropriate in terms of cost and authenticity.
    The reference listed 14915 62 SC I'm having trouble validating, though using this chart it seems mostly correct.
    62 would put it at 1962 which makes sense, and apparently SC means center seconds as opposed to a sub dial.

    I think I'll take the gamble, I would just love to know a bit more about it.

    Thanks
