I found this watch on a site like craigslist. The guy is selling an Omega Seamaster watch that he got from an ex 6 years ago. I offered him 200 for it as a joke to see what he would say, and to my surprise he told me that he would take 180 and trade for my Ray Ban Wayfarers on my page. Anyways do you think this watch is a good deal? here's the watch.

    Or something...

Yes it's a fake, a bad fake at that.

We have a whole sales section of gorgeous watches here. Stay off of craigslist and buy something nice right here

I would... But I don't really have 2000 dollars for a watch right now haha. Maybe after I get out of college. I have a nice Tissot, and a citizen. I love omegas though. They just seem like a awesome watch all around.

Check out the thread on recommended ebay watches then. Point is, an Omega can be $500 or $35,000 but it's all money wasted if it's fake.

If you're in college, my advice is to wait until your finished, then buy the Omega you really want

That is one really.... really... super ugly pearl that just screams fake without having to look at the other elements.

I would look at the vintage watches for sale on this forum. You can get a nice daily wear watch for $500-$1000. Still a big chuck of change if you are on the college Ramen budget. But at least you would know what's out there when it came time to buy. And I would spend a lot of time looking before you do buy. And never buy from the ex uncle.....

Nyme, I'll echo some of the above...on the For Sale thread here I picked up a beautiful Longines All Guard for
under $500 US from a fellow forum member, you never know what you'll find...Look often And be patient!
