Shop signed watch from Mortimer Ricks, Paignton

I found this in my bag of “not sure what to do withs”. Bought on a whim, it’s a 30mm case with a really lovely dial, the whole watch is in good condition but I can’t find anything about the watch or the movement, and only minimal information about the shop which is no longer in existence. If anyone recognises anything of interest please chip in?

The movement. Possibly a tarted up A Schild caliber 984.

Yes I saw his WTB and have offered the bonklip, and then it started me wondering on the watch again
