Do you have any? Post them here. Were they really resistant to shock?

Screw driver has an insulated handle. My test volunteer should be ok. Yep! Watch still works. I may need another volunteer.

Here are my two shock proof / resisting watches. I know there’s a lot of G-Shocks out there, but do any of your older watches have any shock protection markings on the dial?

I was of course kidding about the electrical nonsense. I wonder how much of a beating these older watches could take compared to today’s examples? The Sky-Rocket was used by pilots.

@Duracuir1 ,

The movement in your Skyrocket is definitely shock resistant. The term only replies to the balance staff. A “shockproof” watch might sustain serious damage, but the balance staff could very well survive, undamaged. The arrow points at the anti-shock system on the balance cock in the Rolex cal. 59 (FHF 30) movement in your Skyrocket.

@Duracuir1 , you have some nice watches 😎

While not marked shockproof, I’ll guess that the braille watches needed a boost from the folks in the robustmentization department
