Try that tracking number in Canada Post tracker (if you havent already) I know that as long as USPS picks up shipment from overseas carrier, it will show up and provide info on the USPS site.

While I didnt receive anything from Croatia, I did from several other ex Yu countries, and it was fine.

There is often a period of time when shipments from eastern countries fall off the map and then suddenly they appear at your door. Do not worry at this time. Just received a package from Turkey, this is normal.

Good to know, I checked Canada Post, not eligible for tracking, so I'm just going to try and sit tight....like the old days pre tracking

I am close to croatia so here are my observation:

Guy from croatia probably send with Post office (no ups,dhl,etc.). Tracking will show that parcel is out of the origin country and will not show till parcel come to destination country. When it came to your country and they scan the parcel(sometimes hapens that they do not do it) it will show up in sistem.

Sometimes happens that parcel is already at destination country for week or 2 (with no information showing) and its held to be inspected by costums.

Overall it will come but you need to be patient. My experience till now are that most parcels come on other side of the world in 30 days.

I'm having the same problem. Item has been at custom for 5 days now. From Slovakia to Switzerland.

Wouldn't you be able to track it on the Swiss Post site at this point?

USPS is pretty good about telling you where your item is and the customs status.

You can enter your tracking number on a third party parcel tracking tool to track your packages all in one place. Here i would like to recommend Trackingmore.
