Morning all, I'm having a real problem getting any fully insured shipping quotes here in the UK can anyone shed some light on who offers this type of service. It's a UK to UK ship and the watch is worth around £8000.00 pounds

Thanks in advance

Peter

Have a search of the forum. There are several threads dedicated to shipping watches.

To be honest, for a UK to UK delivery, I wouldn't bother with insurance. Just use Next day Special delivery.
Royal Mail very rarely lose packages.

A lot of money so he wants to be sure!
I would even travel to the destination to deliver for that amount and also meet the new owner of the watch 😉

You would probably be turned back at the first road check and get slapped with a fixed penalty fine. 🙁

How much is the penalty for moving outside of your city in UK?

Here (Greece) is 150€

I doubt anyone in the U.K. will be getting fined anymore after last nights address from Boris.

You still need a valid reason to be driving, and I don't think delivering a watch would be reason enough for most of the police forces in the UK.

The response I heard from a senior police officer was they “don’t have a hope in hell” of policing these new guidelines so I don’t think many fines will be handed out in England at least.

Your quite right STANDY 👍
The new catchy slogan is stay alert 😎
I see a carpet + a very very large sweeping brush and just for good measure a large bucket of whitewash,
at the ready for when this is all over ( if ever ) 😡
