What is the best way to ship from Italy to the US? Assume a high 4 figure watch, not a Rolex. Which carrier is safest, etc.? How would I get insurance (assuming that the big carriers exclude jewelry and watches from their liability)? Thanks all.

ParcelPro specializes in shipping and insuring high value items like watches and jewelry. They use a commodity carrier, but offer insurance for expensive items, regardless of what the transport company offers.

It's either that, or just risk it. ;). Or pick it up in person.
