Sharpening of bezel ridge

I have a couple of fifties gold cap Constellations that have been a little too vigorously polished by their former owners. The central bezel ridge has gone soft.
I would like to restore the central edge on the bezel, if this is possible without causing irrepairable damage.
Would a skilled casemaker be able to help? Any hints would be most welcome 😀
